I’m sorry, following today’s events I can’t help but show you these two images (bushbook.jpg and bushanddick.jpg [a personal favourite]). They both turned up in my email over the weekend. Nice to see people are thinking of me!

I know this is very old, but if you haven’t seen it before, go have a look at the Smoke Hammer, Chris Morris’ parody of cnn.com during the aftermath of 9/11 (or in English, 11/9 thanks). Being reminded of this got me to thinking of other Morrisean things, and in so doing found an excellent (if rather obsessive) fan site at Cook’d and Bomb’d.

Deeply scary – apparently NASA is close to building “noninvasive neuro-electric sensors” that compare brain waves and heart patterns with “known data” to assess whether or not you are likely to be a terrorist as you board a plane… Suddenly the AFDB (Aluminium Foil Deflector Beanie) doesn’t seem like such a daft idea!
