Dear God

Posted at 10:16pm on Thursday, April 26th, 2007

While I wilf hideously the TV is currently on in the background, showing Channel 4’s The Human Footprint. I’ve no idea where they get their stats, but they’ve just stated a remarkable ‘fact’:

There are now more households in Britain that own two cars than own two novels

Is that really true? Christ.

Hawkeye database online

Posted at 4:20am on Saturday, September 14th, 2002

Just started watching the ICC champions Trophy (Zimbabwe v India today) and was looking for previous stats. Went to cricket4.com and found that they have a Java applet with the entire Hawkeye stats for the past England/India series!

How fantastic is that?:

Unfortunately it really shows up the English tactics in that series…
