Boom boom, shake the room
Posted at 10:25am on Sunday, August 24th, 2008 by AndyThey’ve finally gone – the landmark cooling towers alongside the Tinsley viaduct on the M1 at Sheffield were destroyed last night. Speaking as a non-resident who loved the strange juxtaposition of brutal industrial (the towers) and “shopping experience” (Meadowhall) I think it’s a sad day.
