It is licensed under the MIT license, which hopefully should allow you all the freedom that you need.
Download the Offmessage WordPress Theme. It’s a gzipped tar file. I am rather assuming you know what you’re doing from there on in. If not, you may want to read about using themes from the WordPress documentation.
Please note that I have no intention of continuing development of this theme; it’s provided as a useful starter, not a solution.
