Posted at 12:55pm on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007Doug has just reminded me how much I enjoy McSweeneys lists (despite my realisation that the Dave Eggers behind McSweeneys is the same Dave Eggers behind some of my most hated books - no really, they’re dire).

I sent our GRACC list of Cricket-related Movies to McSweeneys. They sent back a very nice email saying that some of them were jolly amusing but perhaps would be lost on their target audience. Which was nice.

I agree, I’ve attempted to read A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, and gave up.
But I’ve bookmarked several McSweeneys lists over the years:
