Once a polly tie toe
Posted at 10:11pm on Tuesday, March 13th, 2007One of my favourite albums of all time is Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake. It’s the single album from the sixties that heralds both the more Psychedelic of the baggy era (you can hear a teenage John Squires studying Long Agos and Worlds Apart) and the entirety of the “Brit Pop” movement. Seriously, read the review over at allmusic and then go buy the album…
Anyway, that wasn’t actually the point of this post… Anne over at i like is a huge Stanley Unwin fan, and has pulled together loads of tracks from the album through the power of youtube. Anne, thank you. A Stanley Unwin bonanza with a Small Faces undertow. Deep Joy.
