On cameras and megapixels
Posted at 10:37pm on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006A strange piece of confluence today. Flickr publish data about camera popularity just I come across 2 articles ‘debunking the megapixel myth‘. A couple of semi pro friends have been trying to convince me for years that 5MP is enough, and the 18″x12″ prints I’ve taken from my 4MP Canon IXUS certainly stand the test, but these articles really suggest that we shouldn’t be seduced by the big numbers.
