Procrastination

Good and Bad procrastination. Obviously all mine is of the good sort. It was clearly more important to make this post than to fine tune my unit tests. No. Really. It was.

Always one to own up

Posted at 9:44am on Monday, March 6th, 2006

I guess I should at least start salting my hat in preparation for eating it, following England’s strong performance against India on a pitch that wasn’t conducive to competitive cricket. I’m loathe to start giving any more opnions since my appalling misreading of the side that made it out to the middle in this match, but hey, this is a blog and I get to say what I want… So… If we can find a replacement for Blackwell we’ll be fine. I’d like us to end up in the situation that Ashley Giles (gawd bless ‘im) plays as our spinning all rounder. Better head on his shoulders, better temperament, better spinner and more measured batsman. Any which way, Blackwell has to go.

Time has moved on

Clearly this should have been no great surprise, but my daughter’s new dolls house has a computer in the spare bedroom and the ‘daddy’ doll is carrying a mobile phone. The computer even makes the Windows default “you’ve got mail” noise when you press it.
