Scrabble Federation’s hammer falls on ‘millionaire’ players
The Nigeria Scrabble Federation (NSF) has wielded its axe on six players including some of the countries representatives at last years African Scrabble Championship held in Tanzania for various acts which it described as misconducts.
a) What on earth did they do? and b) ‘millionaire’ players? Scrabble players? Seriously?
Richie Sambora. He’s the shit. John Bon Jovi is the shovel. With a metal hand.
As I recently discovered choosing names for your kids is one of the most frightening decisions you’ll ever have to make… You don’t want one that’s too popular (who’d want their unique offspring to be one of 5 Marks or Agathas in the class), but you don’t want one that’s too weird or old fashioned (other kids can be so cruel in the playground)… Here then, is the Baby Name Voyager - charting popularity of names (admittedly in the US) over time in a lovely Java applet. For a more UK centric view the ONS is always worth a look (although it’s nowhere near as pretty).
If you (like so many of us Brits, it would appear) are obsessed by house prices then myhouseprice.com is a fantastic source of information, guaranteed to float your financial boat. If, however, you would prefer your work colleagues, parents or slacker friends not knowing how much you paid for your latest pad it is yet another horrifying hole in our personal privacy.
iPod and Lego combined - can you get any better?
phpbb.com taken offline after being defaced by this image. Like I said. Ooops.
Obviously what you do with 4 iPod Shuffles is not share music with 3 of your friends. No. Instead you should turn them into a 4GB RAID array.
