Long long day

Posted at 5:21pm on Friday, February 20th, 2004

Very busy day. Nasty nasty documentation. Never the fun bit of the job. Still… Managed to find a site about giving your cat an enema, so the day’s not completely wasted.

Matt Groening - Ubergeek

Lovely lovely herd of nerds. Not updated often, but always the nerdiest links you could hope for… Latest addition is a link to the maths references in Futurama (more than you think) from which you find a (remarkably detailed) paper on the maths of the Simpsons. 99 x 13 = HAPPY CHRISTMAS (apparently).

Dogs in Elk

Posted at 12:13pm on Tuesday, February 17th, 2004

This thread on rec.pets did the rounds a good few years ago. Paul and I were discussing it over dinner a couple of weeks ago and decided that it was time it had a new airing. To that effect please find for your delectation “Dogs In Elk”. This really is piss funny.

Lori: “wow. I can’t even begin to imagine the acoustics involved with singing from the inside of an elk.”

Anne: “Reverb. Lots of reverb”
