It’s a sad sad day
Posted at 4:20am on Tuesday, July 29th, 2003Nasser finally quits as England’s captain. It seems like only a year ago that we spoke of him as a Talismanic leader - the team were visibly worse without him on the pitch. He’s had a really rough time in the last 12 months. We should remember his reign well - he was a great captain.
