Post 11/9 internment trial

Posted at 4:20am on Wednesday, May 28th, 2003 by

Yet again the British Government strikes a pose and in so doing tramples over all ideas of civil liberty… Well worth a read – the article ends on the thought that “You should always keep an eye on what [the state] did to aliens because it showed what it would like to do to the natives if it got half a chance.” All too true… Go on Mr Blunkett, where’s my ID card? Or perhaps you’d like to prescribe what I wear?

2002: Declares North Korea a terrorist state and a target for regime change.
