A sprout is for breakfast, not just for christmas
Posted at 4:20am on Sunday, November 24th, 2002Just heard on the news that the British Sprout Growers Association is spending a 6 figure sum on persuading us that the sprout is for more than christmas dinner. Apparently a "top chef" is recommending that we have sprout omelette for breakfast… Interestingly a search on the BBC for this news throws up a very similar story from 2 years ago. They gotta keep trying I suppose, but please… Sprout Omelette? Sprout Quiche? Eurgh…
