Posted at 4:20am on Saturday, November 23rd, 2002Oh my God… What a fortnight for English rubgy - we’ve played out of our skins and we’ve beaten all three of the Southern Hemisphere teams. And we have a world beating 18 wins at home in a row. Beating the Springboks today 53-3 almost makes you forget the fact that we’re 36 for 3 in the 2nd innings of the second test in Adelaide.
Roll on the world cup - we’ll have ‘em all…
All I need now is for Gloucester to beat Leeds tomorrow and I’ll forget the cricket altogether.
